If you wish to talk with those further along in their studies there is generally a "Chat in English" thread floating around the board
Keep in mind most of the people here are more corporate-business types.

Just want to have someone around that's as equally interested in English learning as I am, honestly I'm not that pushed about finding native speakers to talk to. Good ones are always hard to come by, really. I think I'm on the verge of giving up hope.

I think I just think too much about saying what people want to hear, not what I want to say. And I've gone way past the point of no return and I feel like I'm trapped. At least I'm able to voice this feeling.
