蔓延するヘイト、包括的な人種差別の撤廃を／ヘイトスピーチ解消法から2年
公権力が差別を扇動

「人種を理由にしたこのようなヘイトデモは、日本に来てから初めて目にした」。
当惑の面持ちでそう話すのは、ポーランド出身の企業研修生の男性。
「このような行動にどんな意味があるのか理解ができない」。

毎週末、ヘイトデモのカウンター活動に参加する20代の会社員男性は「差別状況
に改善は見られず、むしろ悪化している」と話す。「デモ隊の発言に論理はなく、
差別を娯楽として楽しむ彼らを野放しにしている状況だ」とやるせなさを滲ませた。

地方自治体の動き
95年に人種差別撤廃条約を批准した日本政府は、包括的な人種差別撤廃に取り
組む国際人権法上の義務を担う。しかし、批准から20年以上が経つ中で、日
本において反人種差別法は制定されず、マイノリティに対する人種差別は野
放しにされてきた。
