本作の主人公であり最凶の転入生、喫煙者（ヘビースモーカーで愛用する銘柄は「アメリカンスピリット」）[2]、G.P.Sの頭。ヒロミ達が入学する日に3年E組に転校してきた。
実家は劉生会というヤクザでその組をもらうべく不可能と言われている鈴蘭制覇を本気で目指す。人付き合いが苦手で一見冷めた風に見えるが根は仲間想いで仲間のためならば自分の身を投げ出す。
群れることを嫌い単独行動する源治であったが、ふとしたことで知り合った鈴蘭OBのチンピラ・片桐拳と友情を深める。そして忠太、牧瀬、伊崎らを率いてG.P.Sを結成する。
鈴蘭の制覇に最も近いと言われている芹沢軍団の頭・芹沢多摩雄と激突し、僅差で勝利を収めたが、2年にして鈴蘭史上最強の男といわれているリンダマンこと林田恵に完全敗北を喫してしまう。
続編では鳳仙のトップ・鳴海大我と激闘を繰り広げた末、芹沢を倒した時と同じく僅差で勝利した。
最後はリンダマンとのリベンジ戦でタイマン勝負をし、ボディへのパンチで初めてリンダマンに膝を付かせた（が、その1年後を描いたクローズ本編においてリンダマンは無敗となっている事実から、敗れたか引き分けたと思われる）。
しなやかな肢体とシャープな肉体を活かした中距離戦闘を得意とする。その中でも一撃必殺の飛び膝蹴りが強烈。髪型は長髪ツーブロックに2本のラインを入れた独特なスタイル。映画オリジナルキャラであったが、原作の続編・「WORST」でシルエットのみ登場した。

あらすじ
任侠集団「大江戸一家」を実家に持つ山口久美子が高校教師となって7年目。ヤンクミが赴任する赤銅学院では3年D組の生徒達との溝が中々埋まらない中、小田切竜が教育実習生として赤銅学院に赴任した。
小田切が自身に憧れ教師となったと思い込むヤンクミをよそに、小田切自身もまた自分の将来に悩みを抱えていた。そんな中、3-Dの望月達が不良グループに絡まれ、カツアゲされそうになる。そこにリーダー格の高杉怜太が現れ不良達を倒したが、その不良達は何度も警察沙汰を起こしている暴走族「ブラックスカル」のメンバーだったことから高杉達は「ブラックスカル」に目をつけられてしまう…。
一方、赤銅学院の卒業生にも重大な事件が発生、風間廉が覚醒剤の取引に関わったとして警察に追われる身となり、行方を暗ましてしまう。それを知ったヤンクミは、風間の潔白を信じ、緒方大和ら元3-Dの仲間達と共に風間を捜索することに。そして事件の裏には強大な黒幕が潜んでいた。
ストーリー
夜神 月（やがみ ライト）はある日、奇妙な黒いノートを拾う。それは死神・リュークが落とした、ノートに名前を書かれた人間が死ぬ「デスノート」だった。犯罪者を裁く法律に限界を感じていた月は、世の中を変えるため、ノートの力で犯罪者を次々と葬り始める。やがて犯罪者を葬る者の存在に気付いた人々は殺し屋（＝Killer）の意味から「キラ」と呼び始め、キラを神と崇め崇拝する者まで現れた。
一方、警察組織はキラの行為はあくまでも連続殺人であるとし、その調査・解決のためにある人物を送り込んだ。警察を裏から指揮し、数々の難事件を解決してきた世界的名探偵L（エル）である。
天才同士の戦い、求める世界の違いから起こったこの闘いに勝つのは死神の力を持つキラか、それとも警察を動かすLか。

樋田容疑者「日本一周中」愛媛県庁で作製

大阪府警富田林署から逃げて加重逃走容疑で逮捕された樋田淳也（ひだ・じゅんや）容疑者（３０）が８月２４日、愛媛県庁の自転車新文化推進課を訪れていたことが、捜査関係者への取材で明らかになった。
「日本一周中」と印刷された紙を職員に作ってもらい、サイクリング用の地図ももらった。府警は、樋田容疑者がこの頃から日本一周の自転車旅行を装った逃走を始めた疑いがあるとみている。
樋田容疑者は８月１２日夜、署で弁護士と接見後に逃走。９月２９日、山口県周南市で万引きしたとして現行犯逮捕され、府警が翌３０日、加重逃走の疑いで再逮捕した。
捜査関係者や愛媛県によると、樋田容疑者は８月２４日、県庁を１人で訪問し、「今、自転車で日本一周中です。お薦めのルートはどこですか」などと尋ねた。
職員は県内で人気のサイクリングロードを記した地図を提供。
さらに「日本一周用のプレートが欲しい」という樋田容疑者の依頼を受け、「日本一周中」という文字や県のイメージキャラクター「みきゃん」が印刷された紙をラミネート加工して渡したという。
樋田容疑者は９月２日にも再び県庁を訪問。「旅先でアイスクリームをもらった」「人柄がよく、きれいな所が多かった」などと四国旅行の感想を語り、職員に謝意を伝えたという。
樋田容疑者は全国に指名手配されていたが、逃走時とは異なる短髪で日焼けしていたといい、職員は本人とは気付かなかった。
樋田容疑者はこの間の８月３０日、高知県須崎市の道の駅で警察官から職務質問を受けたとみられる。
その後、香川県内で知り合った自転車旅行中の男（４４）＝占有離脱物横領容疑で逮捕＝とともに、しまなみ海道で広島県に渡り、山口県まで移動した。
同県周防大島町の道の駅で記念撮影に応じた際、容疑者のリュックサックには「日本一周中」と書かれたキャラクター入りの紙が付けられており、愛媛県で提供されたものとみられる。【村田拓也、伊藤遥、竹田迅岐】

物語の舞台は西暦2000年9月13日に起きた大災害セカンドインパクトによって世界人口の半数が失われた世界。その15年後の西暦2015年、主人公である14歳の少年碇シンジは、別居していた父、国連直属の非公開組織・特務機関NERV（ネルフ）の総司令である碇ゲンドウから突然第3新東京市に呼び出され、巨大な汎用人型決戦兵器エヴァンゲリオン（EVA）初号機のパイロットとなって第3新東京市に襲来する謎の敵「使徒」と戦うことを命じられる[注 5]。
当初はゲンドウの命令で、そしてEVA零号機のパイロットである少女綾波レイの負傷を目の当たりにしたため仕方なくEVAに乗っていたシンジであるが、使徒との戦い、そして戦闘指揮官であり保護者役となった葛城ミサト、同級生鈴原トウジ・相田ケンスケらとの交流によって次第に自らの意思でEVAで戦うようになる。第3、第4使徒を倒し、戦線復帰したレイとともに第5使徒を倒したシンジに、新たにドイツから来日したEVA弐号機のパイロットの少女惣流・アスカ・ラングレーが仲間に加わり、彼らは次々と襲来する使徒を迎撃し、たびたび窮地に追い込まれるも辛うじて勝利を重ねていく。
しかし、米国からNERV本部へと移管された新型機・EVA3号機の起動実験の際、3号機に寄生していた第13使徒が3号機を操り暴走をはじめたため、ゲンドウは3号機を使徒（敵）として処理することを決定。レイの零号機とアスカの弐号機が倒されるが、それでもシンジが人間の乗っているEVAを相手に戦うことを躊躇したため、ゲンドウはEVAの自律型操縦システム「ダミーシステム」を起動させる。シンジの意思とは無関係に初号機は3号機を破壊し、コックピット（エントリープラグ）を握り潰す。そしてシンジは、そこに自分の友人、鈴原トウジが乗っていたことを知る。
自らが乗ったEVAの手で友人が足を切断する大怪我を負ったことで、シンジはEVAのパイロットを辞めるが、そこに強大な力をもつ第14使徒が現れる。迎撃したアスカの弐号機とレイの零号機も敵わず倒される。その窮地を目にしたシンジは再び自分の意思でEVAに乗ることを決め、使徒と戦い、そして最後はEVA初号機の暴走によって使徒を倒すことに成功する。
しかし第15使徒との戦いにおいてアスカが精神攻撃を受け廃人となり、レイも第16使徒との戦いでEVA零号機とともに自爆し命を落とす。相次いで仲間を失ったシンジの前に新たなパイロット渚カヲルが現れる。シンジはカヲルに対して心を開いていくが、彼こそが最後の（第17の）使徒であった。しかし、アダムと出会うという目的を果たせなかったことでカヲルは自分か人類のいずれか片方しか生き残れないとシンジに説き、シンジの乗るEVA初号機の手で殺されることを願う。シンジは困惑し逡巡するが、カヲルを初号機の手で握殺する。

全ての使徒を倒したNERVに対し、ゼーレは戦略自衛隊（戦自）を使った武力占拠を開始する。施設が次々と破壊・占拠されていく中、生きる意思を失くしていたシンジは無抵抗のまま戦自隊員に殺されようとしていた。その寸前、ミサトによってシンジは救出され、2人は初号機のケージへと向かう。しかし、ケージへの移動中、ミサトは戦自隊員の銃撃に遭って負傷し、シンジにEVAで戦うよう言い残して留まり、区画爆破に巻き込まれ命を落とす。一方、廃人状態であったアスカは目を覚ましEVA弐号機で戦自の部隊を壊滅させるものの、ゼーレが送り込んだEVA量産機9体に倒されてしまう。シンジを乗せ、翼を現したEVA初号機がアスカの元へと飛ぶ。そこでシンジが見たのは、アスカの乗った弐号機が解体され捕食された惨状であった。シンジは絶叫し、精神を崩壊させる。
EVA初号機を依り代としてサードインパクトが始まり、全人類の肉体は液化し、その魂は「黒き月」に集められた。初号機はレイやカヲルの姿をとる巨人（第2使徒リリス）に取り込まれ、そこでシンジはレイやカヲルに再会するが、シンジは人類が単体の生命となることを望まず、それぞれが個人として存在する従来の世界を望んだ。リリスは首から血を噴き出して倒れる。気がつくとシンジは赤い海に囲まれた白い砂浜にアスカと2人だけで横たわっていた。
テレビシリーズ版弐拾伍話「終わる世界」に対し「Air」、テレビシリーズ版最終話「世界の中心でアイを叫んだけもの」に対し「まごころを君に」のタイトルをもつ。

ＴＡＲＡＫＯさん
国民的な人気を誇るフジテレビ系アニメ「ちびまる子ちゃん」（日曜・後６時）で主人公・まる子の声を３４年間務めた声優でシンガー・ソングライターのＴＡＲＡＫＯ（タラコ＝本名非公表）さんが４日未明に死去した。６３歳だった。９日に所属事務所や同局が発表した。今年に入り体調を崩し、闘病しながら仕事を続けていたが、容体が急変したという。

ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんは「まる子」に出会うまでの駆けだしの声優時代、その特徴的な声がコンプレックスのひとつだったという。少年のヒーローにも、可憐（かれん）なヒロインにもなれず「主役向きの声ではない」と落とされてばかり。そんな中で、さくらさんに「声がそっくり」というまる子役に出会い、等身大のおしゃべりがキャラクターになる縁を得た。
ファンの間で語り継がれる伝説のラジオがある。１９９２年２月１７日の「さくらももこのオールナイトニッポン」。パーソナリティーのさくらさん、さくらさんと声が似ているとウワサになっていたシンガー・ソングライターのイルカ、ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんの３人が集い、「誰が誰だか分からない」とリスナーを混乱に陥れた放送があり、本人たちもことあるごとに笑い話に。ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんも１８年の「ありがとうの会」で「似てるって、こんなに幸せでうれしくてありがたくて、なんかグッとくるものなんだなっていうことも、ももこちゃんが教えてくれました」と語るほどだった。
私生活では４匹の保護猫と生活。公式ブログでは、猫への愛や「ちびまる子ちゃん」アフレコの様子、主宰する劇団「ＷＡＫＵプロデュース」での舞台製作に精力的に打ち込む様子をつづっていた。

While still an infant, he was taken from his mother and given to a Hollywood trainer, who then gave him to be a pet chimpanzee for the world-famous pop singer Michael Jackson. In such a bright limelight, it’s no surprise that Bubbles soon gained fame—and many adoring fans—of his own. He appeared in television shows, movies, and music videos. When he was only four years old, he went to Japan on a promotional tour with Jackson.
A couple of years later, when Bubbles grew too strong to be around people, he was “retired” from show biz and sent to the trainer’s California animal compound. Bubbles arrived at the Center for Great Apes in March 2005 with a large group of chimpanzees, all from the entertainment world.
Jackson always maintained ownership of Bubbles, his first and favorite chimpanzee, whom he treated like a son. After his death, Michael Jackson’s Estate has continued to support the annual care costs for Bubbles at the sanctuary.
As a physically imposing 185-pound, 4½-foot adult male, Bubbles is now treated as the dominant male in his group of chimpanzees.
