Q："Why did you decide to go with two keyboard players at this time?”
FZ ”Because of the orchestrational possibilities. When George Duke was in the band,
a second keyboard player would have been a waste of time, partly because of the type of stuff we were doing.
George is so diverse; he can play just about any style, and he's got the discipline to play parts.
He really understands how to comp; he's a really well rounded musician.
But people like George don't grow on trees. Sometimes to replace the guy who is so diverse,
you need two guys who can fit into each other's liabilities."
