大型チャリティー特番『24時間テレビ 愛は地球を救う46』（日本テレビ系）が8月26～27日に生放送され、
世帯平均視聴率11.3％（ビデオリサーチ調べ、関東地区／以下同）、個人6.6％を記録。過去30年の
同番組で最低となった（個人視聴率は1997年以降の調査）。

同番組は2003年以降、ジャニーズタレントがメインパーソナリティーを務めることが定番化。今年はなにわ
男子が同ポジションに起用された。「ジャニーズ事務所創業者・ジャニー喜多川氏（2019年に死去）の
性加害問題が取り沙汰される中、同番組はなにわ男子の起用を強行。そのせいで一部スポンサーが
難色を示し、今年は派手なプロモーションを打てなかったのではないかと噂されています。視聴率が振る
わなかったのも、宣伝不足のせいかもしれません」（テレビ誌記者）

『24時間テレビ』募金額、毎年約1億円ずつ減少？
昨年は嵐・二宮和也ら「ジャにのちゃんねる」メンバーがメインパーソナリティーを務め、世帯平均13.8％、
個人8.1％を記録。同年の番組終了時点の募金総額は、3億1,819万4,209円だった。「今年のエンディング
で発表された募金総額は2億2223万8290円で、昨年よりも1億円ほど減少。ちなみに、21年は4億2,102
万9,826円、20年は5億5,200万5,762円であったため、毎年約1億円ずつ減っています」

昨年に比べ、少々盛り上がりに欠けた印象が否めない今年の『24時間テレビ』。そんな中、ネット上ではマラ
ソン中のヒロミに絡んだYouTuberが話題になっている。「迷惑系YouTuberのしんやっちょが、ヒロミと並走する
様子を動画で公開。執拗に話しかけ、スタッフに制止された後には『ボケてほしいよね、お笑い芸人やったら。
だから『東京の芸人は』って言われんねん。もうちょっと面白いことしてくれ。話にならへん』とヒロミの対応にケチ
をつけた。この放送を受け、ネット上では『いつかタレントランナーに危害が及びそう』と、日テレの警備のお粗

ジャニーズ事務所がジャニー喜多川氏の性加害を認め、謝罪する記者会見を開いたことが欧米のメディアでも報じられている。
会見の中で新社長に就任した東山紀之氏は、ジャニー喜多川のことを度々“絶対的存在”と言及した。

アメリカの芸能界にも“絶対的存在”がいた。ハリウッドの大物プロデューサーだったハーヴェイ・ワインスタイン氏である。
その絶大な権力を利用して、多くの女優たちをセクハラし、90人以上の女性に告発されて、2020年、ニューヨーク州で強姦罪などで
禁錮23年の実刑判決を受けたのに続き、2023年にはカリフォルニア州で禁錮16年の実刑判決を受け、現在服役している。
ニューヨーク州とカリフォルニア州合わせて39年という長い禁錮刑と現在71歳という同氏の年齢を考えると、その判決は終身刑に等しい。

一方、ジャニー氏は、被害者が数百人と世界最多とも言われながらもワインスタイン氏のように裁判にかけられて服役することは結局なく、
それどころか、他界した際にはその偉大さを礼賛する報道が目立った。日米のこの大きな違いは何に起因しているのか？　
イェール大学東アジア言語文学学科・学科長で、日本のメディアの研究もしているアーロン・ジェロー教授が指摘したのは忖度という問題だ。

「日本には忖度という問題があります。政治家も官僚もメディアも忖度している。アメリカには日本ほどの忖度はありません」
忖度は、メディアとジャニーズ事務所の間にもあったと思われる。そこには両者の間に力関係という問題が横たわっている。
「問題は芸能事務所が大きな力を持っているということ。日本では、一部の芸能事務所は裏で反社会勢力と繋がっているとも言われて
いますが、そのことも報じられていません。芸能事務所にとって不利益になる報道がなかなか報じられないのは、芸能事務所とメディアの間に
力関係の問題があるからです」

また、同じメディアの組織内にも忖度という問題があり、それが日本の報道を弱体化させているという。「日本の報道は弱いと思います。
あるメディアの報道部門が芸能事務所のセクハラ問題を報じたら、芸能人なくしては成り立たないバラエティー制作部門の方からクレームが
来るからでしょう。アメリカの場合は、報道部門とバラエティー制作部門は切り離されており、互いに干渉し合っていません」
報道部門とバラエティー部門が独立して活動しているゆえに、報道部門はバラエティー部門に忖度することなく、自由な報道ができるアメリカ。
日本の報道の自由度が世界的に低い背景には、忖度という問題があるのかもしれない。

計画すら提出されず、建設業者も決まらず、着工が大幅に遅れ、予定どおりの開催が危ぶまれている。万博の開催延期・断念
などの事態に至れば日本に対する国際的信用の失墜、大阪府・市、そして国に計り知れない損失を生じさせる。吉村知事や
その前任の松井一郎がこれまで首長として行ってきたことが本当に地域住民にそして社会の要請に応えるものであったかどうかが
問われる。この問題は日本における「今世紀最大の自治体不祥事」に発展する可能性がある。

「荒唐無稽な夢物語」の当然の結末
夢洲を会場とする万博誘致は地域社会の要請に応えるものでも、大阪府民・市民の利益になるものでもない。維新という政治集
団の党利党略のための「夢洲での国際観光都市形成」という「荒唐無稽な夢物語」の一環として計画されたものだ。吉村氏らは
万博は「国家プロジェクト」などと言って、そもそも維新の党利党略のための万博誘致であったことを棚に上げ、責任を国に押し付け
ている。それにより、もともとは大阪を中心とする関西の地方自治体を支配してきた維新が引き起こした「自治体コンプライアンス問題」
だった大阪万博問題が、日本政府を巻き込んだ「国家的コンプライアンス問題」に発展しつつある。「維新の会」による夢洲での国際
観光拠点形成という「荒唐無稽な夢物語」に踊らされてきた大阪府民・市民は、大阪万博、大阪ＩＲ等のビッグプロジェクトによる
「破滅的なツケ」に払わされることになる。

それだけではない。その「尻ぬぐい」を国費で引き受けることで維新に貸しを作った岸田首相の目論見どおり、次の解散総選挙で政権
を利することになる可能性がある。自治体首長の政治目的による大阪万博誘致という“戦後最大の自治体不祥事”は、国民全体に

猿之助によるセクハラ・パワハラ疑惑を報じた。一門の弟子筋の歌舞伎役者や俳優、裏方スタッフに対し、手を握ったりキスを
迫ったりしたほか、一緒に風呂に入るよう求めたりしていた。中には、「ベッドに誘われ下半身を好き勝手に弄ばれた」といった、
猿之助による「性加害」の告発もあった。

そして、複数の証言者の言葉で一致していたのは、「公演の演出やキャスティングなどに強い影響力を持っているため、外される
のが怖くて断れない」という、猿之助が澤瀉屋一門のトップに立っていることに起因するパワハラの存在だった。さらに週刊新潮は、
猿之助による「未成年者への性加害」疑惑を報じた。あらゆるハラスメントは見逃されるべきではなく、きちんと検証され“清算”

　国民的な人気を誇るフジテレビ系アニメ「ちびまる子ちゃん」（日曜・後６時）で主人公・まる子の声を３４年間務めた声優でシンガー・ソングライターのＴＡＲＡＫＯ（タラコ＝本名非公表）さんが４日未明に死去した。６３歳だった。９日に所属事務所や同局が発表した。今年に入り体調を崩し、闘病しながら仕事を続けていたが、容体が急変したという。

　ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんは「まる子」に出会うまでの駆けだしの声優時代、その特徴的な声がコンプレックスのひとつだったという。少年のヒーローにも、可憐（かれん）なヒロインにもなれず「主役向きの声ではない」と落とされてばかり。そんな中で、さくらさんに「声がそっくり」というまる子役に出会い、等身大のおしゃべりがキャラクターになる縁を得た。

　ファンの間で語り継がれる伝説のラジオがある。１９９２年２月１７日の「さくらももこのオールナイトニッポン」。パーソナリティーのさくらさん、さくらさんと声が似ているとウワサになっていたシンガー・ソングライターのイルカ、ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんの３人が集い、「誰が誰だか分からない」とリスナーを混乱に陥れた放送があり、本人たちもことあるごとに笑い話に。ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんも１８年の「ありがとうの会」で「似てるって、こんなに幸せでうれしくてありがたくて、なんかグッとくるものなんだなっていうことも、ももこちゃんが教えてくれました」と語るほどだった。

　私生活では４匹の保護猫と生活。公式ブログでは、猫への愛や「ちびまる子ちゃん」アフレコの様子、主宰する劇団「ＷＡＫＵプロデュース」での舞台製作に精力的に打ち込む様子をつづっていた。

Bubbles was reportedly born in a biomedical laboratory. While still an infant, he was taken from his mother and given to a Hollywood trainer, who then gave him to be a pet chimpanzee for the world-famous pop singer Michael Jackson. In such a bright limelight, it’s no surprise that Bubbles soon gained fame—and many adoring fans—of his own. He appeared in television shows, movies, and music videos. When he was only four years old, he went to Japan on a promotional tour with Jackson.
A couple of years later, when Bubbles grew too strong to be around people, he was “retired” from show biz and sent to the trainer’s California animal compound. Bubbles arrived at the Center for Great Apes in March 2005 with a large group of chimpanzees, all from the entertainment world.
Jackson always maintained ownership of Bubbles, his first and favorite chimpanzee, whom he treated like a son. After his death, Michael Jackson’s Estate has continued to support the annual care costs for Bubbles at the sanctuary.
As a physically imposing 185-pound, 4½-foot adult male, Bubbles is now treated as the dominant male in his group of chimpanzees.
Bubbles enjoys quiet moments and painting. He gives the canvas back only when he is finished and does not limit his painting to the canvas!
