In a pluralistic society people are free to choose their own lifestyles, beleifs, and values,
even if these are different from the lifestyles, beliefs, and values of other people around them.


「思考力をみがく英文精読講義」p5冒頭の部分なんですが、
二回目の the lifestyles, beliefs, and valuesをthoseにして
二行目をeven if these are different from those of other people around them.
とすることは可能なんでしょうか？
もし可能ならばなぜここでは冗長にも同じ言葉を繰り返しているのでしょうか（英語は繰り返しを嫌う言語だと教わ
りました）？
