I think there's a slight suggestion of greater urgency in as soon as you finish, as opposed to as soon as you have finished.
If I were giving instructions I'd think the second marginally more courteous.
てことは、ブランケットを持ってくるのにそれほど緊急性があるわけでもないし、現在完了形の方が若干丁寧となると、
客室乗務員的にはやっぱり原文通りの現在完了形の方がふさわしいということでいいのかな
