Hey!!! All you NEETs, nerds, YouTube link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis,
Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers,
Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters,
Big-boobs fans, Weeaboo from around the world, learners of Japanese
who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, cunning
linguists, stupid fan girls of Johnny's Boys, Touhou pirates, and
that electrical super-gay who suffers from mental disease - This is your thread!
Let's hope the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!
We all wish for permanent world peace! >>347
Because if it really gets to be free and without any legal constraint, most girls will go for popular guys, and with just you and them you won't stand any chance at all. There are ice creams that can keep its shape for one hour out of fridge.
Substances extracted from strawberries make it possible. I learned this from Reddit, which is a good place to know various things. i dont know how to watch reddit. There is a good app. Just install it. desktop app isnt enough to watch?
i should watch it by smartphone? There's an another message board which makes you so happy.
http://bbs.sp.findfriends.jp/?pid=thread_detail&id=115921&pager_type=pager&page=1&w4&w4 After all, Is there only Japanese here?
How much do you think Google Translate has? I gave it a try. It's still in the developing process, though it has improved drastically to the extent that I can easily understand the meaning of the translation. There are/were several foreigners but most of them are driven out by a certain person who continuously attack them. Thank you for answering my question.
Thanks to you, I understood the status of this thread. There's an another message board which makes you so happy.
http://bbs.sp.findfriends.jp/?pid=thread_detail&id=115921&pager_type=pager&page=1&w4&w4 And thank you for your opinion about Google Translate.
I learned a lot from that. So if this was a sci-fi movie, this thread would be one of those dystopian world where actually and truly skilled people are all gone because of the people's stupidity. How sad. why don't you abandon this thread too?
this thread has stopped working for a few years. Invite people from other sites. >>364
What's work of this thread? JU'T TP GJOF UPEBZ.UPP IPU UP CF GJOF. >>352
Reddit is an ordinary site. >>339
Agree for she's such shame. Fuck! I want to date with a white gaijin! Yeah, like when pigs fly. I have a question for everyone.
What language can you speak except Japanese and English?
I do not speak only English and Japanese.
But as you can see my English is poor. I'm still accepting questions about Chinese history. Feel free to ask. How many dialects are spoken in China? I don't know. That's not history. Life is old there. Old than the tree. JU'T B MJUUMF CJU PG DPPM

> How many dialects are spoken in China?
They are not dialects.Other languages. I recently learned that Mandarin is not an official language in China. I always wish I could speak Mandarin and Cantonese. So cool. Mandarin is one of many dialects in China. i got cold in summer !!!! It's outrageous that highschool students should be playing baseball in this baking heat.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of them have a heatstroke and die.
Asahi would have to take the brunt of criticism then. That’s so Japanese culture. Sure. It's just part of their training to get ready for becoming a member of society and meeting unreasonable requests from their future boss.
No matter how ridiculous they might be, it would be totally justified under the idea of "work ethic" deeply ingrained in Japanese mindset, Did you know that 50% of Americans can't read middle school-level books? I live in a country full of these idiots. >>384
The basball tournament deserves to be abolished. I always use a mobile phone with Android os installed.
Japanese version of Cortana is not sold.
I had no choice but to talk to Cortana in English. If I'm not mistaken, the summer Olympic games take place at around this time of year too. Are the Olympics Japanese culture? There's an another message board which makes you so happy.

I can imagine that.
My prediction is caused by the mismatch of pronunciation with spelling. The famous essayist Koizumi Yakumo (real name Lafcadio Hearn, whose father was British/Irish and mother was Greek)
said that the ancient Greeks and Japanese are the only people who have a love for insects,
in comparison to the brutal Romans and (in his words) human-centric Christians.
I think he would be very disappointed if he saw what Japan has become (he came here in 1890 and died in 1904),
but anyway, I too have little interest in the Roman Empire and Christianity and a strong interest in Greek philosophy,
so maybe there is something between us and Greece. Do you like Greek yogurt? No, or rather, I don't know what it's like. The only yogurt I know is Bulgarian yogurt. >>387
might be a bit of an exaggeration lol.
It's probably closer to 35% :^)
yes, the education system in america really is bad, and even worse many people think education is not even important. What does it mean you can't read middle school level book?
35 to 50% of Americans cannot read the New York Times, for instance? I cannot believe it. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/08/01/magazine/climate-change-losing-earth.html
As a long article maniac, I finally found the longest article ever. More than 30,000 words!
I'm interested in how long it takes for native speakers to read this article. I came across the information that average negative speakers read 300 words per minute.
So it takes 100 minutes even for native speakers... >>404
> >>387
So,What's important for them? >>400
The most important thing for the average American is what the TV tells them is important. They spend all their time watching TV or on their smartphones. Sometimes they do both at the same time. Few people read books in America anymore. >>402
No things did not change all at once and all of a sudden. Nor is the problem restricted to the supporters of one political party or another. It is "across party lines" The number of people reading books also decreased here in Japan, but reading ability itself does not seem to have decreased accordingly.
If so many people have such restricted reading skills, it should be attributed to other factors includig a wealth gap or something. People read books because they had nothing else to do, not because they were more intelligent and had a greater thirst for knowledge.
It's just that TV games, smartphones and other things have replaced books as a means to kill time.
I see nothing to worry about in that. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literacy_in_the_United_States
It seems true that rates of literacy in the U. S. is in the level mentioned above. it could partially be ascribed to its diversity in the first language. but 50% is exaggeration... >>406
There are certain races that read at a lower level than their actual grade. >>401
I think the same goes for every country in the world. i think business in use at NHK radio is a good resorce to tackle with eiken 1st grade.
even now i still havent got these textbooks though. Eiken is so lame... too easy >>411
you are so smart. have you studied english at collage or university? >>397
50% of Americans not being able to read NYT is a very good thing actually. No one should read that shit. There's an another message board which makes you so happy.
http://bbs.sp.findfriends.jp/?pid=thread_detail&id=115921&pager_type=pager&page=1&w4&w4 Adoption of summertime sounds ridiculous!
The bad effects of summertime became a subject of discussions in Europe. Summertime might affect health.
A lot of people have been taken to hospital with heatstroke so far, and I don't think that it'll be easy for elderly people to adapt to summertime.
What will happen if summertime is adopted? I would enjoy a nice cup of tea in the morning like British. I'm against introducing summertime just for the one month long Olympic Games.
Many industries will be forced to change their system, which costs them huge amount of money.
And Japanese people not living in Tokyo areas should not be made to accept such summertime. Nobody wants to get up two hours earlier than usual! People living in the metropolitan area ought to get up two hours earlier than usual.
Do not compel other Japanese to follow suit. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/community/2013/07/29/issues/there-is-more-to-my-son-than-the-fact-hes-a-half
I happened to see this article about so called "half". Everyone should be careful to avoid microaggressions. >>417
You're right. However, have you read this?
https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/html/20180807/k10011567031000.html
This article says that only 12% of people opposed summertime. I don't get it. It is called daylight saving time in the US and summertime in the UK according to the dictionary but BBC call it daylight saving time. I'm confused.
Anyway, I think it is impossible to introduce daylight saving time by the next year. We need more time to prepare if we adopt it.
China and Japan are one of rare countries refusing adopting it, but I don't like the notion of changing the time of a clock twice a year. Only China and Japan? Me no likey! JU'T IPU CVU FBTJFS UIBO UIF MBTU XFBL JTO'U JU? BHSFF

JU NVTU IBWF CFFO XFFL JTOU JU? This thread is like blockade. Philippine English is not American English or British English.
Philippine English has a Filipino accent, and its expressions and usages are peculiar to the Philippines.
Even highly-educated Filipinos speak with a Filipino accent.
I have spoken with dozens or even hundreds of cultured Filipinos, and I found that their English is full of mistakes.
Filipino-accented English has faults, especially in pronunciations, prepositions (equivalent to te, ni, wo, ha in Japanese language),
nouns in the plural, auxiliary verbs and countable nouns.
In addition, numerals and genders.
The reason is easily explained. Their language does not have the same grammatical rules as real English.
In actuality, they speak Filipino-accented English with their own grammar and pronunciation.
Although several millions of Filipinos can communicate with each other without difficulties in their English, it is not American English. I think that Ireland is a good place to study abroad.
This is because every English teacher speaks RP, very nice British English, and many of them are also good at teaching.
Moreover, diligence and having a fervor for education are part of the national character of Ireland.
I have often heard that Europeans strongly recommend Ireland rather than the UK as a great place to study abroad.
They said that although the UK is a good place for a vacation, Ireland is the best place to study.
However, it is true that ordinary Irish people speak heavily-accented English.
You should consider whether it is acceptable or not. With each passing day, we get closer to death. >>421
I'm totally for that DST thing. I wonder why everyone hates it that much. It will give us a proper motivation to get up earlier and lets us have some more free time after work to engage in our own hobbies,
which would otherwise be wasted on sleeping too much, shunning from the reality that you have to go to work that day. >>427
Philippine English is not American English or British English.

Philippine English is like neither American nor British.
Even if Spanish language, there are many types by the country. In Spain, Spanish language is like Spanish.
However, in central America, Spanish language seems to like English.
And also, in south America, Spanish language seems to like French.
It may be good for us that English language has many types by the country. >>431
Changing time itself is a huge burden.
If someone wants to take advantage of the summer sunshine they just get up early in the morning and not tell others to do the same things.
It should be up to everyone's choice. >>433
You've got a point there, I can totally make some time during morning all on my own.
But wouldn't that be even better that if we got to make use of our time without being worried about the work later on? I mean, just waking up earlier doesn't mean we can go home early too. Adopting the summer time thing means that we get up 2 hours early and then finish jobs at a regular hour. Right? I will stand on the top of the world. >>433
I can understand your point to some degree.
But it's obvious that changing sleeping pattern causes some health problems.
We need social wide agreement to bring about such a drastic change and we clearly don't have time to implement it by the next year. When has Japan become one of the third world countires? I misstated the number. It was for >>434. >>435
We are strict about getting to work on time but somehow lax about working overtime
It doesn't make sense at all... Hello, I am an American.
I was born and raised in America,
AMA (Ask Me Anything). Are you a white gaijin with a big cock? >>444
Yes.
I am actually over 6 feet tall, well built for a skinny guy, and have straight natural red/brown hair.
I have never had a gf though, and I'm currently prioritizing work. What do you think of your president? >>446
I think he is not the best, but he's not bad either.
I don't trust or listen to either side of the American
mainstream media (CNN or Fox, anything in between),
because they are always trying to spin everything to fit
their narrative. (CNN acts like Trump is the devil, Fox
says everything he does and says is amazing/sucks his dick)
He has done some good things while he has been in office,
although he often says dumb things on social media.
I like how he respects veterans and puts us first, but
that sometimes strains relationships with other countries
(which I don't like).
To be honest, I think too many American
politicians have been TOO accepting of other countries lately.
For example, there has been a huge issue in certain states
because immigrants will come illegally to our country and
set up their own gang networks among innocent communities
of legal migrants. The legal migrants come out themselves to
protest the government allowing this to happen- telling stories
about how family members were raped or killed because of the
migrant gang violence, and yet the government does nothing.
So when someone like Trump got elected, it made me happy,
even though I might not agree with everything he says.
It made me feel like, "Oh, at least we are not going to get
stepped and spat on for the next 4 years".
All in all, I have a positive opinion of him, but I keep my doubts.
I knew he would end up winning before the election because of how
big a meme he had become (lol). ■ このスレッドは過去ログ倉庫に格納されています
