Hey!!! All you NEETs, nerds, YouTube link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis,
Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers,
Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters,
Big-boobs fans, Weeaboo from around the world, learners of Japanese
who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, cunning
linguists, stupid fan girls of Johnny's Boys, Touhou pirates, and
that electrical super-gay who suffers from mental disease - This is your thread!
Let's hope the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!

We all wish for permanent world peace!

It wasn't love at first sight, I knew about her after I learned she voices my favorite characters and started to love her over time after seeing and knowing more about her.
I can understand her a little more each day by learning more Japanese and seeing her interactions in videos, and reading interviews and her Twitter with Google Translate.
The only reason I haven't seen her in person is because I live on the other side of the world. But just seeing her through pictures and videos and hearing her voice makes me happy.
I have no friends or family that I care about, so she's the only one that can comfort me.

You should never politicize any disasters.
And you completely misunderstood the situation. The Prime Minister stay informed about the disasters. Commanding rescue effort and holding press conference are completely different things.

Again, do not try to politicize natural disasters just only because the timing of press conference. Do not!

Hi, I bet you guys are all familiar with the moments that on the train you get an accidental boner when a girl standing in front pushes her butt right up against you as if she's seducing you by doing so.

And I just had one. Thanks.

Of course, must be cool for any junior high schooler to have a nihilistic viewpoint like that, hah?
In reality, it's all about the acting skills and how you look serious about tragic events like this so people will recognize him as a reliable and compassionate leader, which will eventually benefit him in many ways.
You see? Everyone wins in this scenario. That's politics.

He's right. In the strict sense I think humidity is the key factor that influences your perception of the heat.
I flew to Okinawa few years ago in the summer. Once I took a step outside the plane, it almost felt like I just got into a sauna because of its hellishly hot & humid weather.

Is it right? They say it's more comfortable in Okinawa than in Tokyo especially in the summer. One of the most hellish climates of the world is found in the mainland of Japan because hot and humid atmosphere which comes from the equator falls around Tokyo. It is also true in case of the winter.

It's too hot to go to beaches anymore.
Statistics shows that the number of people going to the sea in summer are rapidly declining.
Summer becomes dangerously hot. We have no choice but to attribute this to global warming.

You didn't get my point. I meant your simple measurement of the temperature will be relatively less crucial in terms of determining whether people would actually feel it hot being there.
So instead I thought humidity was the one that plays the key role there. Also, you can't compare your subjective observation to those of others. Some people say it's hotter in Tokyo, others might not.
(Though I didn't say anything about Okinawa is the hottest area in Japan) And Okinawa is way closer to the equator than Tokyo.
I think you are referring to a phenomenon called "Heat Island", means the temperature will be higher in densely-populated areas due to the higher rate of its people's activities.

It's clear humidity affects how people feel the heat. Some air conditioners have functions not to lower temperatures too much while keeping humidity low. This is very useful function.

Kyoto city renews the record of temperatures. 38 Celsius degree is unbelievable.

I understand you just mention the humidity on how people feel it hot, but it is determined not only by how close to the equator the place is.
I just wanted to say the hellish climate with high humidity is brought about by the climate change. The atmosphere heated near to the equator once fell down on a lower latitude before, but now it falls down just around the main island of Japan.

So frustrating that my company commits its hardest to some eco-action bullshit. Thanks to that, the A/C in my office are set at like 30 fucking degrees. I'm not even sure if it's working at all.
Some of my colleagues even fan themselves using uchiwa. Preserving the environment is important, but isn't that too ridiculous to strictly follow those standards when people are distracted from their own work.
