It is sometimes pointed out that inequality is inevitable in capitalist society. I agree with the idea for the following two reasons.
Firstly, in capitalist society, rich people have many chances to earn much money through investment, such as buying stocks.
However, poor people cannot try to do that because they have not enough money to invest. Many of them would remain poor.
Secondly, in capitalism, you have no duty to support people economically. Wealthy people are usually not criticized even if they refuse to spend their money on helping poor people.
Only few people try to solve the problem of inequality because ignoring poverty is to some extent accepted in capitalism.
For the two reasons I mentioned, I believe that inequality is inevitable in capitalist society.
