it is necessary to improve public safety. there are two reasons I will present concern car accidents caused by elderly which occur frequently and the high technologies we have today.
first, we have to prevent elderly people from car accidents. however it is not realistic for those people to live without driving a car because of increasing older generations and the lack of transportation in rural area.
but today we have a way to solution; technology. if automatic cars, which are easier for them to drive, become common, the amount of car accidents would be dramatically decreased.
for the reasons I stated above, I believe public safety should be improved by today's great technologies.
