San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee Dies At 65
Lee was the city’s first Asian American mayor.

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee died early Tuesday, city officials and a hospital spokesman told HuffPost.
He was 65. His cause of death was not immediately released.
“It is with profound sadness and terrible grief that we confirm that Mayor Edwin M. Lee passed away on Tuesday,
December 12 at 1:11 a.m. at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital,” city officials said in a statement.
