I also didn't know when and why they changed its name to the Japan news. Some newspapers even create a site to accept claims about such errors. Same things cannot be said to Japanese newspapers. What if I'm Japanese but don't use that much of soy sauce? Should I say "they"? I believe "we" is correct, but it's weird. Also, saying "we" feels assertive, and I hesitate to use it in many cases. "X put it on everything"
>>697 made it clear that X doesn't involve oneself, so it ought to be "they".
Speaking of soy-based food, miso ramen is the most delicious food in the world. 0705名無しさん@英語勉強中 (USWW 0Hea-pGvb)2017/12/19(火) 08:21:45.97ID:4FuGTOrEH>>708 Put that aside .
You said "ought to ".
Why it's not "have to " ? 0706名無しさん@英語勉強中 (US 0Haa-YWaw)2017/12/19(火) 09:30:25.46ID:CqHKOPGqH "so it would have to be 'they.'" "so it has to be 'they.'" "so it should be 'they.'" "so it must be 'they.'" "so it ought to be 'they.'" All mean the same in this instance. 0707名無しさん@英語勉強中 (USWW 0Hea-pGvb)2017/12/19(火) 09:32:53.58ID:4FuGTOrEH English speaker tend to give the language an analyse. Even an ordinary guy do that. On the other hand. Japanese doesn't do so. What does this fact suggest? 0708名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ワッチョイ 531c-QMlx)2017/12/19(火) 10:02:16.07ID:A/sVfDll0 I agree with the anti-tripfag sentiment in this thread. This jook guy is annoying as shit. Fuck tripfags, this is an ANONYMOUS website for a reason. Being a huge attention whoring gaijin is cancerous as fuck. "LOOK AT ME EVERYONE, I'M A GAIJIN!!!! BIG AMERICAN. ASK ME ANYTHING :)." 0709名無しさん@英語勉強中 (USWW 0H8e-pGvb)2017/12/19(火) 10:39:16.28ID:vPPenwErH>>710 Get it. Thanks.
But,One more question.
It's about "would " .
You use would quite freaqently but it's meaning is blur for me.
In other word what is the meaning of would? 0710名無しさん@英語勉強中 (US 0Haa-YWaw)2017/12/19(火) 11:25:12.64ID:CqHKOPGqH "Would" means something similar to "will," but it's more of a helper word than a word that gives information. It can be used to express past habits: "I would go to the store every day." It can be used to express an outcome that hasn't happened because of some reason: "I would go to the library, but it is raining." It can be used to express what is right, proper, or expected: "it would be best not to say such things." It can be used to make a polite request: "would you pour me some water?" It can be used to express "will:" "I wouldn't put it past him." There are probably other uses, but I can't think of any more right now. 0711名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ササクッテロラ Spc7-p26x)2017/12/19(火) 15:27:02.86ID:QrZ8OYzqp I’ve been studying English since 4month ago.
