Breath easier man.
The posts do not break world peace. in 2018, more than half of the japanese women are 50 years old or older.
this will also be the case with the japanese men sooner or later... >>630
What do you want other one to say? >>631
how about sequestering yourself from the world? I have studied English since 3months ago.
The girl I met at English school yesterday was very beautiful. >>617
so why you stay here?
you should make japanese only thread and be confined there. i will challenge english test grade 2 >>637
Get lost.
You're meaningless. >>636
Noooo
As I’m shy boy,I was only able to look at her from a distance. Im asking this question only to girls.
Which guy you find more attractive, shy boy or arrogant guy? Oh, damn it. It seems no girls here >>642
of course girls dont like both I think most Japanese girls are bitch .As They like money,if you want to play with them you should give them much money. >>638
None of your business. I found it important to study English grammar.
All studying English is based on it. In the world where you won’t exist is whatever wishes won’t come true.
Even if the burning valley is waiting for you,the people I will want to protect is you. I don’t need anything other than you.
Most problem is not important.
I don’t need a thing more.
God please give me ordinary life. >>641
Get closer by and by.
Practice! >>646
Then,What's the situation in other country? >>644
I don't think so usually. >>648
I don' think so.
When you speak other europian language
You need to study and take grammer.
But,In the case of english that's not needed. This thread's taking a rest.
I feel saturday and sunday has fewer
user. >>649
Maybe,
What you wanted to say is a part of the lyrics of the song called “ANATA” by Hikaru Utada, don't you? lol Some people consistently argue that tuition for University should be free for all. I'm strongly against it. Taxpayers money should be focused on the brilliant students such as by helping them study abroad.
The decreasing number of Japanese students studying in the US is staggering. It has already surpassed by most Asian countries. This must be addressed.
It is also completely needless to give money to affluent students. That just balloons the deficit.
I hope more and more students can have the opportunity to learn abroad. So-called F-ranked universities all over Japan should be closed for good. Oops I’m a graduate of those lol >>657
>> Np, you can see a declining birth rate trend in Japan😅
Many universities would be closed.
I can't read books in English for teen because probably I have less than 5000 words vocabulary 💦
I want to learn words.
Are there any vocabulary books in English to English you would recommend? >>657
Are you the one who was talking about a Tokyo uni graduate brother?
Anyway, I agree with you. F-rank unis are used to gather cheap foreign labor disguised as overseas students. They should be closed asap. I've been enlightening people about lifelong learning and homecooking.
Someone in this thread was talking about buying sliced cabbage at a store, but he should try it by himself.
Slicing a cabbage is very easy and kinda fun. It feels good. for himself, not by himself... >>660
I'm envious of you. You must be a down-to eartth person.
I don't like house chores such as cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry, or even taking a bath. >>666
Then,How do you get such ordinary life?
Make someone do that for you?
like the one who come from KYUSYU. >>663
I don't understand what you mean by like the one who come from KYUSYU.
I'm a single, so basically my room is always messy like the one which poeple usually call "Gomiyasiki" I don't know which is correct, " one which" or " the one which" >>656
I agree about not giving free uni for all. Rather than free uni for all, care worker's wages should be raised. the sink at the kichen in my house was so dirty that i carefully cleaned it today.
i can see the shimmering of the stainless steel again now. Cleaning your house is good. Living in a dirty room is a waste of life. >>669
in japan, they say that cleaning toilet in your house will bring you a good luck.
i thnk it's just a superstition, but whenever i clean the toilet, i can't help thinking about it. Can someone give me a quick run down on the whole domain change/re-branding thing? >>669
"The" means implies one and only. >>672
Always in english here please. Anyway.Which english magazine or newspaper do you usually love to read? >>674
I buy the Japan News every other day at a convenience store and only read the front page besides the editorials.
When it comes to English magazines, I don't read them at all. Instead, I make it habit to read books on a daily basis.
But my reading speed is so slow that I almost take a month to finish reading only one book.
That's because I can't help consulting my dictinary whenever I run into words and phrases whose meanings I don't know. >>675
Wow! I made a mistake.
correction I almost take a month → it takes me almost a month I talked about sliced cabbage yesterday, but "shred" was the correct word, not slice. >>679
Oh!Really?
I only seem you are a good english writer.
A half month for one book...
Not so late not so first. >>679
I haven't read H.Tribune for a very long while.
How the paper going changing it's name? >>675
I didn't know the change name of Daily yomiuri.
That paper have a lot of mistake in english and it's famouse.
How's that now? >>667
Good female available which you can't see here almost all. >>680
I also didn't know when and why they changed its name to the Japan news.
Yeah I've heard of that rumor, but I don't have what it takes to recognize the mistakes in the first place. lol
So I periodically copy some passages of the editorials by hand to improve my writing skills.
Even if I find such an error in them, I won't care at all. That's because I think we human beings cannnot avoid making mistakes, besides there are a lot more I can learn from them. Frankly speaking, we can detect a lot of grammatical mistakes in English newspapers.
Some newspapers even create a site to accept claims about such errors.
Same things cannot be said to Japanese newspapers. It is almost impossible to detect any errors throughout the papers in most cases.
This suggests huge difference between both languages.
To put it simply, English is easy to make grammatical mistakes. We don't need to care about the singular or plural, and and an article.
And grammatical flexibilities might be another factor.
Japanese is so flexible that it is difficult to say:"Hey that's completely wrong!". >>687
Agree without a doubt.
Then,I want to recognize why that ,mistake, take place.
In my opinion.
One of the reason is that such small rule e.g. verb-s has no important function to change the meaning. >>685
I agree without a doubt.
Then, I want to recognize why that mistake took place.
One of the reasons is that small rules eg. verbs have no important function on meaning.
English can be very flexible too.I can understand almost any broken English. Sniffer's watching.CautionS. Sniffer's watching.Caution Who is this fucking Sniffer? >>693
Still hiding watching us. Do you usually use eay or some other EC
site? >>689
Yes.
There's in english some unofficial
grammer.
e.g.
How do you analyse the words
"Hands up"?
I think the words is strange when you
carefully analyse. Whether you agree with me or not,
I can’t change my mind. >>692
"Hands up" is the elliptical form of the imperative command "put your hands up."
It's kind of a rare construction in that it's not used for many phrases. "hands up" is probably the most common phrase, but
I've heard "pens down" as in "put your pens down" and "cell phones off" as in "turn your cell phones off" when I took tests in school. >>697
What?
What are you getting at? >>657
Free makes waste always.
e.g. In Sinpapore medical care was for free but thd patients put medicine to dustbox. I hate how I have to put a lot of "he" "she" "we" and "they" in English sentences.
For example, think about this: "Japanese people like soy sauce. We put it on everything."
What if I'm Japanese but don't use that much of soy sauce? Should I say "they"?
I believe "we" is correct, but it's weird. Also, saying "we" feels assertive, and I hesitate to use it in many cases.
In Japanese, there would be no we nor they in this sentence.
Same for he and she. These pronouns are not used in normal spoken Japanese. >>701
Putting the main subject aside when you
use "we" on Japan offcourse the word means all the japanese.
I seem it's big problem.
Coz "all" including non english speakers. I can understand your question.
You are one of Japanese, so it seems appropriate to use "we".
But you are not Japanese who likes soy sauce. In that sense, you might want to use "they".
However this may sound like you are non Japanese.
Is that right?
"Japanese people like soy sauce. They put it on everything. "
If I read this sentence I only feel you want to mention Japanese taste as a whole and will not try to assume your nationality just only from this.
So I prefer "they" in this case. >>703
How about use "you" in place of they?
Ofcourse that suggest in "general". Sorry,Sniffer's maybe coming. It might be more simple issue.
You just care about whether you yourself are included or not.
"X put it on everything"
>>697 made it clear that X doesn't involve oneself, so it ought to be "they".
Speaking of soy-based food, miso ramen is the most delicious food in the world. >>708
Put that aside .
You said "ought to ".
Why it's not "have to " ? "so it would have to be 'they.'"
"so it has to be 'they.'"
"so it should be 'they.'"
"so it must be 'they.'"
"so it ought to be 'they.'"
All mean the same in this instance. English speaker tend to give the language
an analyse.
Even an ordinary guy do that.
On the other hand.
Japanese doesn't do so.
What does this fact suggest? I agree with the anti-tripfag sentiment in this thread. This jook guy is annoying as shit. Fuck tripfags, this is an ANONYMOUS website for a reason.
Being a huge attention whoring gaijin is cancerous as fuck. "LOOK AT ME EVERYONE, I'M A GAIJIN!!!! BIG AMERICAN. ASK ME ANYTHING :)." >>710
Get it.
Thanks.
But,One more question.
It's about "would " .
You use would quite freaqently but
it's meaning is blur for me.
In other word what is the meaning of would? "Would" means something similar to "will," but it's more of a helper word than a word that gives information.
It can be used to express past habits: "I would go to the store every day."
It can be used to express an outcome that hasn't happened because of some reason: "I would go to the library, but it is raining."
It can be used to express what is right, proper, or expected: "it would be best not to say such things."
It can be used to make a polite request: "would you pour me some water?"
It can be used to express "will:" "I wouldn't put it past him."
There are probably other uses, but I can't think of any more right now. I’ve been studying English since 4month ago.
I like ramen which is based on soy sauce.
It is the best food I have ever eaten! Aw your English is so cute <333 >>708
Lololol
You made my day! Thanks! Anyone is welcomed in this thread.
Nobody can decide who is allowed to be on this thread or anything.
So just take it easy. >>708
the reason underlying your aggressiveness against gaijins might be an inferiority complex
dont do such embarrassing thing Another gaijin lover again? >>699
>Is that right?
Yes, that's exactly what I meant. >>710
>>It can be used to express what is right, proper, or expected:
"it would be best not to say such things."
Give me another one or two example.
Please. >>716
You're the sniffer getting around here recently. >>715
And maybe he or she is the one who like has no charge on the earth killing time. Jook was killed by "Thomas fire"? He's still alive but his office was burned down to
ashes? He's enjoying the holiday season free from work and no time to stop by here?
The reason he's been absent for a while is anyone's guess, but to all of you morons
(me included) here, have a good holiday season! (although there's no such a notion
as holiday season here in Japan) >>728
Ya!
Good holiday season! My friend John always get ultraviolet rays from the sun.
so his face is somewhat black. but I don't know obvious reason.
when I asked him it,he seems to be infuriated by my silly wards. I rapidly apologized him. but he was fury and he said he won't forgive me never.
then I couldn't realize factor of my emotion but I got angry too.
eventually we had been fighting each other.
I have been broken both my legs but I have broke his arms, I think we are friend since our same situation we are standing. >>715
I am a gaijin, fuck off with your internet psychiatrist shit. You're not qualified to make psychological assessments of people based on a forum post, and you were hilariously off base since I'm actually a white American myself.
That doesn't mean I support this guy coming in here begging for attention by adopting a permanent identity on an anonymous forum. ■ このスレッドは過去ログ倉庫に格納されています
