テンプレはめんどくさいから、>>2以下で誰かやってください。 63. You know something. As of 2017, there are more than 100,000 Japanese people living in China, >>62
Setagaya? I heard people in Setagaya even don’t go to combini because they are super rich. Is that true? I looked up the word "invade" in the dictionary, and the first example usage is this:
start to invade Tibet
チベット侵略を開始する
I praise the editors of this 三省堂 dictionary. @66. Tons of such shops over here. You are ill-informed. lol. Japanese economy today highly depends on China. Japan imports from China more than any other country, let alone China being the second largest buyer of Made-In-Japan today. We, humans, need each other to survive, regardless of color, zip code and the likes. >>69
You shouldn't see only economical influence for importance.
China is still not so impotant as for their
bad behaviour. @72. If you were Chinese, I guess you would have written something else up there. We are all biased one way or another. >>64
I don't know about America, as it is not a normal country. I was thinking about what's going on in Western Europe when I wrote that post. That’s the reason why we were born with two eyes and two years. Let’s try to use all of them. About time to go to bed now. I must get up early tomorrow. Thank you. Everyone This thread got #1 momentum just right now. I believe this was the first time ever since this Chat english thread originally established. It's second place now. And I've seen this thread's momentum exceeding 100 in the past. Maybe even over 200. i thought about trying an online english chat room to polish my speaking/listening skills,
but i remember i need to get some headgear with microphone of good quality in the first place...
i wonder if reviews for products on amazon are reliable or not... I wouldn't mind some verbal communication to work on my Japanese either,
but I'm just worried that everyone else might not be used to my accent (in English)
since I'm not a native English speaker, and people are used to hearing either
British or American accents. >>65
100,000 is 1/7 of the number of the Chinese people in Japan. It is a very small size considering the population of China is 10 times larger than Japan.
On top of that, take the massive territorial size of China into consideration, and the size of the Japanese population in China should be insignificant. >>80
Some of the reviews could be paid for or completely made up by the companies themselves,
but still I found review scores reliable in most cases.
Paying a closer attention to negative reviews rather than good ones also helps, I believe.
You would be surprised how Italian people tend not trust
the information they find on the internet, books, TVs or from any other media outlet.
Instead, they value the information they obtain from real-life friends
as if it is the only reliable information out there... >>17
you should go hospital.(´・ω・`) I guess you need another message board for your unlimited chatting desire.
So see the site!
http://jbbs.shitaraba.net/study/13024/ >>30
That's awful.
Shirasu is so nice.
Some Gaijins are impossible. >>84
Put "to" between go and hospital @82. Then we should send J-nese business persons and their families even more to China, to to mention students who are eager to learn Chinese. The fact is that, without them, we, Japanese, can no longer sustain our daily life, like it or not. Look around, everything is Chinese, your clothes, electric appliances, shoes and the list goes on and on. Put simply. We are living in One World. Your saying like Chinese should go back to China is the same thing as some of them saying like Japanese should go back to Japan. Those are mostly right-wingers, aka, uneducated, narrow-minded ones. Whenever chinese people sex, they don't do foreplay. Man just insert his dick into a pussy. Thats all. It is like a dog's sex. >>92
1.Here is not your possession.
2.Not the same.Think about situation. in spite of learnning English every day, my dream that watching american movies without subtitle are long way to go.
and the saddest thing is that speaking in English is much more diffcult than listenning or reading english.
everytime i try to speak and make sentenses in english, words are running away from my head.
it's like i'm a butterfly catcher and words are flying away from me in to the blue sky.
and English grammar is also my nightmare which is completly different from japanese one.
the hardest part is how to deal with the time. past tense, future tense, present tense, confusing me.
when i talk about some story to someone, my characters break time barrier easly. like time traveler.
so that even the easy storys like my grandma going shopping to supermarket turn into a Science Fiction. >>94
How the hell did you get to know that? >>96
How can I find out such difficulty in your sentenses? >>96
It's the same for me with Japanese. If I get the time to look up words and
write my thoughts down instead of speaking them then I can form quite coherent
sentences, but if I need to speak in real life then I'll often pick the wrong words,
speak casually when I should be speaking politely and vice versa, screw up the
tenses, or just sound like an idiot in general.
Do you also feel like you just can't use half the vocabulary you supposedly know?
Like, I know around 8000 Japanese words at this point, but a lot of words I'd only
ever recognize and would never use on the spot even if they would be the most appropriate.
For example, I recognize the word 涼しい when I see it, but I've never actually used
it when it would have been appropriate. Instead my mind jumps to スッキリ even
if it would be grammatically incorrect or sound weird in context. Don't forget everybody speaking incorrect japanese and that's enough for do almost all. It is interesting to know you confuse スッキリ with 涼しい.
Learning second language is that difficult...
We'll be スッキリ after taking shower, and we'll say 涼しい in front of air conditioner in summer.
Speaking is the most difficult because we have no time to come up with the right words.
I can read the New York Times with no difficulties, but my speaking level is of native elementally school pupils... @95. 1. Totally agree with you there
2. I don’t see your point.
Good day. I am so happy that this thread has been gaining huge momentum recently. >>103

何を根拠に雑魚と?点数か?
じゃあまずお前がスコアをID付きでうpしてみろよ。これでどっちが雑魚かはっきりするだろ。 I totally scare of making grammartical mistakes when I speak or write English sebtences.
How sbout you guys? Is it ok making mistakes? >>67
china wll pressure to Sanseido to say that >>104
Since this is an English-chatting thread, you'd better write your opinion in English from next time; otherwise you are going to be seen as a non-english idiot. >>94
I guess it doesn’t matter if the woman is just for abenefit realationships xD Please tell me about “shadowing” learning style.
Is it effective when I wanna improve my English speaking skills?
Please tell me about it especially someone who’s trying shadowing now >>103
are you the person who originally made this thread? >>105
Making mistakes is absolutely the best way to learn something in the quickest possible manner.
Being too scared of it is completely unnecessary and just slows down your progression,
although for whatever reason it is all too common among Japanese people.
No one starts out perfect, and in all honesty,
no one really cares if you make a mistake or two in a foreign language.
Just go ahead and set yourself up in an environment to make a lot of errors.
It will definitely help you. rewrote my reply
>>67
if china catches the news she will pressure 三省堂 to delete it
you may think it's a joke, but chaina will do it surely >>105
Makeing mistake is no serious matter.
Breath easier to enjoy chat. >>111
Caran method is I think a kind of shadowing. >>113
>>116
I definetly appreciate your comment.
How do I describe my enotions...speechless happines that you guys encoruage me to speak English and recommend talking English with joy.
I love you guys, and embrace your comment deeply.
Thank you for replying me! >>117
Thanks man,i just searched that in a quick momment and i guess it’s quicker than shadowing talking speed.
Kinda intersting staff @104. Score ? What the hell is are talking about ? I think I‘ve never even talked with ya, Grow up, kid.. I’m so glad that so many people started to post commnets here! Instead of freaking annoying gaijins... What a productive thread. No wonder many english learners have been coming here recently. Correction : Are you talking about. Not are talking about This thread is so destructive that I think I am wasting my time and that I will fail in a upcoming test next month. Gotta get out of here ASAP. XD >>124
Then destruct all your devices that have an internet access right now. why destructive?
this thread topics are mostly boring. >>127
Then why don't you give us an intriguing topic? Did you come to this place just to complain? >>127
Ha ha!
Your sarcasm is boring too.
You may have much knowledge about English but no English you write have wit! >>129
Then, don't come back. Comfort women are just professional prostitutes. Whores! Having said that though, I’m still here.
*facepalm* Do you guys have a favorite dialect/accent of English?
Like Irish, German, French, American, etc. stuff like that.
I'm partial to Irish, Scottish, and Australian dialects, myself. I like this guy’s accent but basically i don’t like british one and the one strongly related to british accent like Australian.
so i like american and canadian better.
https://youtu.be/9QCgqQdmr0M >>134
I like american accent, maybe because I am accustomed to hear that by watching a lot of american movies >>135
I think Bogan Australian with as much slang and stereotypical "Australianness" as possible
is hilarious and fun to listen to. I don't like it just because it "sounds silly" but because they
usually sound like rowdy, fun people with a lot of energy. That's a stereotype of Australia in
general, sure, but it's not like it's a bad one.
>>136
I'm assuming you mean the Midwestern American accent, or as it's often called, the "accentless"
American accent? I like that one too. America doesn't really have that many good accents,
but the Midwestern is good and the New Yorker accent is at least funny to listen to for a little
while. If you listen to it for too long it starts to get really annoying. I've heard that Haruma-fuji has a drinking problem.
It seems that people live in Asian continent generically savage.
I wonder if that's because they are descended from Genghis Khan? How much I like american accent depends on the region. Since US is a huge country, people's english speaking accent varies place to place within the country.
Personally, I don't like Newyorker's accent. It is not very comfortable to hear for me.
I like California and Texas accent. Ohh, >>137 already mentioned what I wanted to say During my two day visit to Scotland, I couldn’t even catch the word, Loch Ness. I even met a Japanese female student saying like “Dad, call me back to Japan, people here don’t speak English !” @138 You are a Japanese-in-name-only. Remember. We all crossed Yellow Sea a long time ago. We humans are all the same. Not just Mongolians, Some of us also drink too much and lose control. That’s nothing new. @139. Wish I could visit the US some day. Among many accents in Japan, I like Ibaraki’s accent the most. So cute. :) >>144
I'm totally crazy for the Kansai dialect. I love its rhythm, its unique vocabulary, the comedians
that speak it, and the speakers themselves are usually really fun people to be around.
I want to learn to speak something like it too, but I know that "general Kansai dialect" isn't a
thing, so I need to learn which dialect has the features I like the most and start focusing on that
one. I guess you need another message board for your unlimited desire.
So,take a look at the site.
http://jbbs.shitaraba.net/study/13024/ @145 Among many TV personalities in Japan, some are from overseas. Of these, A guy who can speak Yamagata accent is so funny. I like him. I cannot recall his name though. Kansai accent also sounds funny to Tokyoite that I am. I really wish this retard would fuck off and die. Why do this kind of retards tend to spam the thread? @148 you must the one I called RWNJ. LOL. I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you mentally ill? Why do you not use anchor? Thank you for reading my great comment to ya. Hope you liked it as always. >>142
we are not the same.
so-called national character a lot depends on its historical, geographic or geopolitical conditions I don't watch sumo these days, but I liked Harumafuji's sumo style. He's a fighter. But his temper was not suitable for a yokozuna, I guess. @152. Agreed. Even among us all. Some are lefty, others are righty. Otherwise there would not be that many nouns. Btw. Why is it that some of us tend to look down on other Asians ? I guess you can answer my stupid question in no time. no. the victim (takanoiwa) went zyungyo(巡業) after the trouble and won the match.
everyone there didnt confirm his wound (including me watched the VTR).
so what i doubt about is why harumafuji's affair reported exaggerately and wrongly.
all i want to expel is not individual like harumafuji nor takanohana, but the corrupt structure of sumo association(相撲協会) itself. @153. Good point. Totally agreed. Asashoryu was also retired because he caused the violence
it seems that Mongolian-born sumo wrestlers are easily offended >>156
your way of reply is not suitable for 5ch.
use ">>" instead of "@". @157. What if there were some bullying because they are minorities ? Being an outsider is not as easy as we can imagine, I don't like Japanese accent in English, even though I also speak in that way.
They tend to speak very flatly with no intonation, and influenced by the first language greatly.
This make them very hard to understand.
I am used to listen to other accents such as lndian's or Filipino's
because they broadcast news on a daily basis,
but have less opportunities to be exposed by Japanse accent.
This makes things worse especially when I have to be interviewed by Japanese who has strong accent. >>159
you are unfamiliar with Japanese somo much?
there is not bullying due to being minority in japanese sumo world >>161
why you can assert like that? dont you know the word "kawaigari" ? Compared to that European's accents are easy to understand,
when l hear they speak English in international meetings on BBC. >>160
sorry, i dont quite understand your situation
which country are you living in now? ■ このスレッドは過去ログ倉庫に格納されています
