Hey!!! All you NEETs, nerds, YouTube link spammers, pedophiles, neo-Nazis,
Yukorin enthusiasts, Nanako SOS admirers, Part-Time-Preachers,
Diplomats' spoiled sons, losers who can't remember Kanji characters,
Big-boobs fans, Weeaboo from around the world, learners of Japanese
who are too lazy to update their Japanese blogs very often, cunning
linguists, stupid fan girls of Johnny's Boys, Touhou pirates, and
that electrical super-gay who suffers from mental disease - This is your thread!
Let's hope the Internet-addicted housewife will come back soon!

We all wish for permanent world peace!

Yes, the person's English is very well, using complex senteces easily.
If what the person wrote is true, it may due to the lack of technical terms
or vast differences in speaking and writing skills.
That is not a rare case among English learners.

one impressive advice my former boss gave me to improve english skills is "to never use dictionaries".
she was born and raised in hongkong and her english was excellent.
a half of myself can now understand what she meant but the other half still rejects her advice.
anyway, native english speakers usually grow up without dictionaries at least before going to elementary schools.
and 6 year-old kids have a good command of english and can speak fluently.
a dictionary is not a must.

according to korean bank's report released in 2008,
about 56% of all the companies which were founded more than "200" years ago
and are still operated (5,586 companies at the time) are japanese companies.
this is a surprising and interesting fact and at the same time i would like to know why.

if you can buy something at supermarkets or discount stores and want to keep it inside a bag for carrying,
you can get a transparent/semi-transparent vinyl (plastic?) bag.
(sometimes, you need to pay for it.)
but when you buy some goods at drugstores, the sales clerks almost always put them in a black/silver/tangerine/etc bag
and hand it to you.
the bag is the kind that no one can see through.
do they do this for the purpose of protecting customers' privacy??

Too expensive in my country. Also, most drinks are pure cold-iced shit.

i'm super into foods and drinks but i am not into restaurants or bars or cafes.
but i don't think it's good not to visit as many stores as possible to widen and polish my personalities
and acquire a wider range of viewpoints.
starbucks, veroce, sun marc cafe or tally's coffee, i need to visit those places more.

i intended to use a word "queer" instead of "strange" in an english sentence
and looke up the word in a dictionary, just in case.
surprisingly, "queer" had a different meaning other than "strange"
and for that meaning, the word was classified as "taboo".
the advice comment in the dictionary said "never use this word.".
i didn't know about that.

there seem to be a lot of funny vending machines around the asakusa area in tokyo.
vending machines which dispence, say, tsukune, cigarette pipe, mushroom or miniature toy train.
i have been to asakusa once, visited the sensouji temple, but didn't find any at that time.
if i have a chance to go there, i will try to find some.

Nice work.
I really want to join you now, but I'm still confused as to how I should get it started since I've never used the site before.
It would be much appreciated if you first set the examples for us, that way everyone can feel more comfortable to join in.

I did.
And when you see the comment "Hello", that's me.

Is there some kind of "HOW TO" instructions on Reddit?
The user interface is terrible, like how do I even start a thread lol
