と訳して、
entitled=were to entitle
と書いているのですが、entitled=were to entitle、の部分は仮定法過去ではないと
いうつもりで書いているのでしょうか？（つまり、仮に...であるなら、という意味で。）

の部分について、どうしてwould entitleではなくて、entitledなのでしょうか？
