そんで、問題の張り紙です。

Welcome to the Japanese Garden.
Here you shall pass the Trial of Mastery to prove that your existence has meaning.
If you succeed, you will receive an immaculate cherry blossom that will allow you to see the hidden meaning of things.

To receive it, five brave souls must pass the Trial and prove their perfect mastery of a chosen discipline.
But should even one of them falter, all five will lose the abilities they value most.

And if no one dares to pass the Trial, then everlasting sleep shall engulf all the inferior cowards that inhabit this City.

ようこそ、この日本庭園へ。
ここで君たちに君たちの存在意義を証明するための匠の試練を受けていただこうではないか。
君たちが成し得れば、人に真実の裏側を垣間見せる、無垢(むく)の桜の花を手にしよう。

それを手にするには、五人の勇壮な心を持つ者たちがこの試練をくぐり抜け、定められた鍛錬においてその熟達の極みを証明しなければならない。
しかし、万が一その一人でも躓(つまづ)くことあらば、その五人全てがその最も尊ぶべき才を失うであろう。

なお、敢えてだれも試練に挑まないというのならば、その時は永遠の眠りがこのシティに住まう下等で怯懦(きょうだ)な者全てを呑み込むことになる。


なんかすんごい偉そうなんですけど…。

※You shall〜：shall を自分以外の主語で使うと、お前を〜の状態にしてやるというような偉そうな意味になります。
話し手の意思が含まれるので、俺の力でこうしてやる的な…。
良い子はまねしちゃいけない英語です。

最後にも shall が出てきますね。眠りに街を呑み込ませてやると言ってるんですね。偉そうですね。
っていうかこれが日本人のイメージじゃないよね！
