音楽活動引退の吉田拓郎「つくり上げた時間は永遠のメモリー」オールナイトニッポン最終回に思い

年内で音楽活動を引退する吉田拓郎（76）が14日、最後のメディア出演となるニッポン放送「吉田拓郎のオールナイトニッポンGOLD」最終回（16日午後10時）を前にコメントを発表した。「一緒につくり上げた時間は永遠のメモリー」などと思いを語った。

番組は収録済み。50年を超えるラジオ歴や、自身が手掛けた作曲の中でベスト1と考えている楽曲について語っているほか、アコースティックギターで即興のスタジオライブを行うなど、最終回も拓郎らしい自由な放送となっている。

拓郎は71年に同局「バイタリス・フォーク・ビレッジ」のレギュラーパーソナリティーとなり、74年から「吉田拓郎のオールナイトニッポン」を担当。80年からも同番組を務めた。その後も、97年から「吉田拓郎のオールナイトニッポンDX」、09年から「坂崎幸之助と吉田拓郎のオールナイトニッポンGOLD」、20年から月1回で「吉田拓郎のオールナイトニッポンGOLD」を担当し、オールナイトニッポン55年の歴史とともにあった。

拓郎のコメントは以下の通り。

　国民的な人気を誇るフジテレビ系アニメ「ちびまる子ちゃん」（日曜・後６時）で主人公・まる子の声を３４年間務めた声優でシンガー・ソングライターのＴＡＲＡＫＯ（タラコ＝本名非公表）さんが４日未明に死去した。６３歳だった。９日に所属事務所や同局が発表した。今年に入り体調を崩し、闘病しながら仕事を続けていたが、容体が急変したという。

　ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんは「まる子」に出会うまでの駆けだしの声優時代、その特徴的な声がコンプレックスのひとつだったという。少年のヒーローにも、可憐（かれん）なヒロインにもなれず「主役向きの声ではない」と落とされてばかり。そんな中で、さくらさんに「声がそっくり」というまる子役に出会い、等身大のおしゃべりがキャラクターになる縁を得た。

　ファンの間で語り継がれる伝説のラジオがある。１９９２年２月１７日の「さくらももこのオールナイトニッポン」。パーソナリティーのさくらさん、さくらさんと声が似ているとウワサになっていたシンガー・ソングライターのイルカ、ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんの３人が集い、「誰が誰だか分からない」とリスナーを混乱に陥れた放送があり、本人たちもことあるごとに笑い話に。ＴＡＲＡＫＯさんも１８年の「ありがとうの会」で「似てるって、こんなに幸せでうれしくてありがたくて、なんかグッとくるものなんだなっていうことも、ももこちゃんが教えてくれました」と語るほどだった。

　私生活では４匹の保護猫と生活。公式ブログでは、猫への愛や「ちびまる子ちゃん」アフレコの様子、主宰する劇団「ＷＡＫＵプロデュース」での舞台製作に精力的に打ち込む様子をつづっていた。

　デビューした1970年から99年までの30年間の中から「たえこMY LOVE」や「大阪行きは何番ホーム」「全部抱きしめて」など25曲を収録。吉田が自ら選曲し、オリジナルマスターテープから最新のデジタル技術でリマスターリングした。
