台湾南部の台南市を拠点に活動するカメラマン、蕭文彬（シャオ・ウェンビン）が、地元の普済殿で開催中のランタンフェスティバル「普済殿燈会」を紹介する。

16日に始まった今年のランタンフェスティバルは、2月11日まで行われる。ランタンの数はこれまでで最も多い1600。廟へと続くランタンの明かりは何とも美しい。（翻訳・編集/野谷）

●蕭文彬（シャオ・ウェンビン）

1956年生まれ。台湾台南市出身。幼少時代は貧しい家庭に育つ。父の「家族写真を撮るためカメラを借りたい」との申し出を親戚が断ったことが、プロのカメラマンを目指すきっかけとなった。初めて手に入れたカメラは中古のペンタックス。ここから本格的な撮影技術の学習をスタートさせる。現在は台湾南部を代表するカメラマンとして中華南群撮影学会理事長や台南市撮影学会の副理事長を務める。2015年12月には台南市の新光三越で個展を開催した。
