The Japanese "militarism" from 1930s to 1945 was the socialization with the Imperial Army system and was "the communism revolution from the top". The then Japanese politics and media were taken over secretly by communism. At first we must criticize socialism (communism) that became the basis of the Greater East Asia War. The true purpose of the Greater East Asia War was a revolution to the communist states in Japan and East Asia countries. Asia became independent from European and American colonial rule as a by-product of the Greater East Asia War.
Founder Vladimir Lenin [The Russian Communist Party(Bol'sheviki)] Founded March 2, 1919
The Comintern aimed at the world revolution by the violence and started the Communist Party in each country. They justified terrorism, a riot, murder, the crime for revolutions. The Comintern was "General Staff Office of the world revolution".
Lenin and Stalin led the Comintern and aimed at the world rule by the Russian communism. In Japan, GRU spy Sorge, Comintern member Hotsumi Ozaki acted seretly. -Mantetsu Chousa Bu (Iron research department of Manchurian railroad) -Kikakuin (a plan House) -Showa Kenkyuu Kai (meeting for the study of the Showa era) In U.S.A., the Comintern penetrated around F.D.R. (President Roosevelt). The United States and Japan were forced war on by plots of the Icebreaker theory, the World Revolution, revolution by violence of Lenin. And Japan faced the crisis of the defeat revolution.
Japan and the American Democratic Party are the left wing, and there is the common risk.
The current political situation is similar to before World War II. Japan before World War II was ruled over by a left-winger, and they were dressed in a nationalist under the pretense of "reformists = Kakushin-Ha".
"Anti-communism" is the most important for the current crisis. An enemy is Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, left-wingers. 0198名無しさん@英語勉強中2012/08/03(金) 07:51:29.29 2011年9月号のp.41に間違い発見。

In the given sentences, the word "that" is used as a demonstrative pronoun. It refers back to the concept mentioned in the previous sentence. Here, "that" is referring to the scope or nature of the "problems" being discussed. The statement implies that the problems being addressed are not limited to or exclusively the responsibility of the United States, China, or Europe. Instead, these problems are on a global scale, necessitating a worldwide effort for their resolution. The use of "that" in this context helps to emphasize the breadth and severity of the issues at hand. 「"The problems"だとthoseじゃないかな?」 と思ったのですけどね。そこで単数の言葉を探したわけです。

The phrase "beyond that of just the United States or China or Europe" is referencing the previous mention of the need for global leadership, indicating that the scope of the problems is such that it surpasses the capabilities or jurisdiction of individual nations or regions. The word "that" is thus used to connect back to the concept of global leadership required to address these widespread and severe problems. 0533名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ワッチョイ 6e84-j5Ax)2023/11/21(火) 15:57:54.34ID:us6hxrPi0>>532 早速のレスありがとうございます。 やっぱり各国の個別のリーダーシップと取る方が正解ですかね。 ディープるで調べると該当箇所が「問題」と訳されたので、そうかと思ったのですが。

Using "that" initially helps to directly refer back to the specific idea just mentioned ("he is pushing things forward"). Then, "it" is used to continue referring to the same concept but in a more general way. This kind of variation in pronoun use can help avoid repetition and can make the sentence flow better. It's common in English to use different pronouns or structures to refer back to the same idea, especially in longer or more complex sentences, to maintain clarity and readability. 0536名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ワッチョイ 5f4f-1fOb)2023/11/28(火) 22:20:30.97ID:5MkT12hj0 同じ言葉を繰り返すのはawkwardだよね 0537名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ワッチョイ ff84-yHNh)2023/12/09(土) 15:51:19.92ID:egdpwwsM0>>535 >>536 Oh my god!!! Today I want to ask you a question about a sentence from CNN EE. In the January 2024 issue, page 40, the 11th line from the bottom, "Even more so than for previous generations, our influences while growing up were not limited to the people in our immediate physical environment;".
The words "our influences" in this sentence isn't seen in Japanese translation. How do you take this meaning in Japanese?
I'm looking forward to your response. Thank you very much. 0540名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ワッチョイ 124f-3CSV)2023/12/18(月) 14:47:39.82ID:kZVFtOqk0 Not only 'our influences' but also 'while growing up' is not included in the Japanese translation. The translation is too free. If I were translating, it would be as follows: 「成長過程で受ける影響は物理的に身近な人々を超えたものであった。」 0541名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ワッチョイ 1684-f4mU)2023/12/19(火) 15:15:21.52ID:6gqTfkRg0 It's kind of you to respond to my question. Thank you so much. The sentence certainly doesn't have 'while growing up ', too. I didn't see that. It was my bad. As you say that, the translation isn't enough to tell the situation in Japanese. Are these only careless mistakes of the translator, or something else? I would like to know the "hidden" intention. (Maybe, it is merely a problem of the character limit.)
I haven't yet read the articles in the magazine to the end, so I get back to it. See you later. 0542名無しさん@英語勉強中 (ワッチョイ 1684-f4mU)2023/12/19(火) 15:17:45.26ID:6gqTfkRg0 sage忘れました。 すみません。 0543sage (ワッチョイ cf84-nfCj)2024/02/22(木) 17:55:15.82ID:rMqx5d1w0 Today I want to ask you a question about a sentence from CNN EE. In the March 2024 issue, page 111, the 12th line from the bottom, 'we have to fully appreciate 1,200 Israelis killed in an absolutely horrific terrorist attack should be condemned and (the face) warrants a strong, aggressive response to protect Israel and to allow Israel to protect itself.'
Before asking you, I've already asked "copilot". 'I think this sentence is a little odd. Why do I feel so?' I am surprised that he/she answered politely, and I'm grateful for it. Below is the answer.
'The sentence you provided indeed has some awkward phrasing. Let’s break it down to understand why:
“We have to fully appreciate 1,200 Israelis killed in an absolutely horrific terrorist attack should be condemned…”: The use of “appreciate” here is unusual. Typically, “appreciate” conveys a positive sentiment, such as gratitude or admiration. In this context, it seems out of place. Perhaps the intended word was “acknowledge” or “recognize.” “…and (the face) warrants a strong, aggressive response to protect Israel and to allow Israel to protect itself.”: The inclusion of “(the face)” is puzzling. It appears to be a typo or an incomplete thought. The sentence would make more sense without it. A clearer version of the sentence might be:
“We must recognize the tragedy of 1,200 Israelis killed in an absolutely horrific terrorist attack. Such an event warrants a strong, aggressive response to protect Israel and allow it to defend itself.”
Feel free to adjust the wording further based on the intended meaning. 😊'
